Brandon VanWaeyenberghe is currently the Executive Director for the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra. Prior to joining the DSSO, he served as the director of finance for the Charlotte Symphony, where he oversaw all financial, information technology and human resource aspects for the organization. Brandon spent nearly 10 years at the Houston Symphony in four different roles across fundraising, finance and business intelligence. He is a graduate of the League of American Orchestras Orchestra Management Fellowship program, a nationally recognized program in arts leadership. Brandon holds a BS in Music Management from the University of Evansville (IN) in addition to a Masters of Arts in Arts Administration and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati. His research regarding the supply and demand of orchestra musicians has been published and quoted in several publications. In his spare time, Brandon is an avid homebrewer and loves to run and hike with this adopted Australian Cattle Dog mix Barley.
